The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Commission allows an employee's card to be downgraded as to better serve in the function or allowable operations for your Class of Permit. If you wish to have a card downgraded, we have provided the following as a reference guide. Simply chose the exam code desired (from left hand column) and read across (to right hand column) to show which exam code the employee must already hold in order to proceed with the downgrade. Example: An employee that currently holds an Exam Code 09, Manager, can downgrade his card to an Exam Code 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 10, and 16. This would be important for a dealer that holds a Class 6 Permit which only allows Exam Code 06, Installation and Service, to be listed under their permit (See Exam Codes allowed in Classes of Permits). Requests must be sent in writing with the appropriate fees. Please contact our office if you have further questions or concerns at (225) 925-4895.
